A cuvée of 50% Frappato and 50% Nero d'Avola. The parcel is located in Vittoria next to limestone ridges for which the cuvée is named. From 40-year-old vines planted at an altitude of 280 metres on a soil of limestone sand. Manual harvest at the beginning of October. Natural vinification: a 30-day maceration with indigenous yeasts, and juices handled by gravity. Matured for 32 months in 25-hl oak barrels that have seen several wines. Bottled without fining or filtration, just a micro-dose of sulfites.
