100% Nero d'Avola from 25-year-old vines planted in the village of Bastonaca at an altitude of 230 meters, in the southeast of the island, on red sandy soils. Vinification: grapes are harvested by hand in small crates, maceration in amphorae, fermentation with indigenous yeasts. Aged in the same terracotta amphorae, bottled on the estate with only a micro-dose of sulfur.
Giusto Occhipinti is Arianna ’s uncle, but above all he is her mentor. He founded this vineyard in 1980 with two friends.
