Teroldego Morei Cilindrica - 2018 - Elisabetta Foradori
A nose of great purity, fruit, and sweetness, with notes of blackberry jam, morello cherries, and a hint of flowers... Palate: lightly sparkling just after opening, this red is at once lively and silky, with very fine tannins, and huge freshness. A very fine wine.

100% Teroldego from vineyards farmed biodynamically and planted on a patch of alluvial soils with a great deal of pebbles called the "Vigneto Morei" parcel, which covers a total of 2.5 hectares. The grapes are harvested by hand, then vinified naturally, without any additives: fermentation is longer than a classic Morei, including 8 months of maceration in 350-litre amphorae, followed by pressing, and 12 months of maturation in the same amphorae. Bottled without fining or filtration, and just a microdose of sulphur.

The viticulture advocated by Elisabetta is profoundly rooted in her own principals about life, biodiversity, and energy, with biodynamics strongly informing her views on the latter.
