Châteauneuf du Pape Rouge - 2014 - Château Rayas

Emmanuel Reynaud

Sold out

It is always a legendary tasting: Rayas is magical in its presence and delicacy. The nose is consistently very floral, with subtle, captivating fruit, hints of black olive and prune. The palate is airy, velvety and fresh, just as magical.

100% Grenache Noir, a curiosity in an appellation that nonetheless authorises 13 grape varieties… but that is precisely the genius and the signature of Rayas. These old vines are farmed without any chemical products, using only substances that one can “drink or breathe,” and are planted on a unique terroir within the appellation, where sand plays a key role.
