Rhône Valley
Sublime, of course, a Côtes du Rhône that only Emmanuel Reynaud could create, so complex and long, first on the fruit and rich strawberry jam on the nose, then blood orange, spices, with a hint of menthol... The palate is both structured and delicate.
A blended cuvée of 65% Grenache, 20% Syrah, and 15% Cinsault, from old vines planted on soils of rolled pebbles. While not certified organic, the vines are farmed without any chemical treatments, using only products that can be “drunk or breathed.” The grapes were harvested by hand, with low yields. Vinification: fermentation and maceration of the whole clusters, aged for several years in old casks.
