A densely complex nose with notes of wild strawberry, raspberry, and cranberry, supported by lovely herbal notes and hints of white and green tea. Complex and long on the palate, with aromatic notes of cherry and caramel, pronounced tannins, beautiful structure, and a subtly oaky finish.

100% Pinot Noir from organically farmed vines planted at an elevation of 350 meters on the hills of the Bien Nacido vineyard, which features clay-limestone soils. The grapes were harvested by hand. 80% destememd, fermentation in open tanks with two punch-downs per day, pressing, end of fermentations and 6 months of aging in French oak barrels from the François Frères cooperage, half of which are new. Racking, blending of the barrel lots, followed by an additional 14 months of aging. Light fining, no filtration, bottled at the estate.
All of the wines produced by Au Bon Climat sold on our website are imported into France by Vins du Monde.
