This cuvée is sold in the Crazy Wine Box - Jardins de la Martinière
Exceptional Cabernet, which takes the clichés of the grape variety and sublimates them... Vegetal, pepper and undergrowth notes. A haute-couture palate, with perfectly integrated tannins for a subtly structured juice. A rare and precious cuvée.

100% Cabernet Franc from vines averaging 25 years old, grown organically on a southeast-facing slope, with soils of clay-limestone. The grapes were harvested by hand at optimal ripeness. Natural winemaking: 10 days of whole-cluster maceration with one week of punching down, gentle pressing, fermentation and aging in barrels (without new oak) for one year, followed by blending and four years of aging in tank. Bottled by gravity in September 2024, without fining, filtration, or any added sulfites.
Kaya Tsutsui
Kaya Tsutsui, a passionate thirty-something, now runs winemaking at Les Jardins de la Martinière. Until 2018, it was Xavier Caillard, icon of Les Jardins d’Esmeralda, at the helm. Since the Japanese family company Nichifutsu Shoji – specialists in French wine imports and the very folks who brought the baguette to Japan – took over, the first vintage of this new era has already made waves....
