Haut Berba Le Jardin de mon père - 2023 - Fabien Jouves et Vincent Maysounave
Fabien Jouves
Lemon, a touch of exotic fruit (pineapple), beautiful markers of ageing on the lees. Lovely length on the palate, with aeration revealing its potential. An elegant and rich finish, with fine bitters. An intriguing and seductive white, “Jura-like” only in style, a real favorite!

A blended cuvée of 70% Petit Manseng and 30% Gros Manseng, from 40-year-old vines farmed organically, grown in Vincent Maysounave's little garden, planted on beautiful clay-limestone terroirs. Hand-harvested. Natural winemaking in Fabien Jouves' cellars: direct pressing of the whole clusters, fermentation in stainless steel tanks, 24 months of ageing in large casks, on the lees. Bottled without fining or filtration, no sulphites added.
