A Syrah with no fuss, no muss, just fruit! The palate is supple and easy, straightforward and direct, a thirst-quenching cuvée to be enjoyed between friends!
Ingredients and nutrition facts
This 100% Syrah wine is produced thanks to grapes that were bought to friend of Fred's... anonymous ! The vines are farmed organically, with biodynamic practices, planted on clay soils covering a total of two hectares, facing south. The grapes are harvested by hand, with yields around 45 hl/ha. Natural vinification: the grapes are moved by gravity, de-stemmed, followed by 10 days of maceration with indigenous yeasts, and pneumatic pressing. After 10 months maturation in concrete tanks, the wine is bottled without fining nor filtration.
Fred bought Vignoble de l'Écu in 2010, with its perfect soils cultivated organically since 1972, then certified biodynamic by DEMETER in 1998. He’s been collaborating with Guy Bossard since 2014, the master of Muscadet. The pairing is simply miraculous. Fred, a novice at winegrowing but an unparalleled taster, knows exactly what he wants and what he intends to do for wine in the Muscadet....
