This wine is everything you expect and love about Chablis, and more! The nose already shows great complexity and depth, with hints of white fruits and citrus fruits, even if ideally you should wait a few years to appreciate its full potential! A wine in perfect balance – a true delight.
100% Chardonnay from vines acquired in 2017, and farmed organically. This Premier Cru faces Southeast and benefits from both a cool climate and morning sunshine. Very steep slopes and soils composed of a thick layer of Kimmeridgian marl. The grapes are picked by hand when ripe, sorted in the vineyard and in the cellar, followed by gentle pressing in a pneumatic press, vinification for one year in demi-muids barrels, and aging for one year in casks, without new oak. Neither fined nor filtered, with just a micro-dose of sulphur.
