100% Gamay from old vines grown biodynamically, planetd on granitic soils on the steeply sloping terroir of Les Claives. This is one of the most difficult hillsides in Valais to work, at an altitude of 450 to 650 meters, with no roads. Harvested by hand. Natural vinification: partial de-stemming, keeping a majority of whole bunches, gentle maceration, aging in vats, bottling at the estate with just a micro-dose of sulfur.
