100% Syrah from old vines farmed organically, planted in Chamoson at 500 meters altitude. Hand-harvested on September 20th, 2022. Vinification: 5-day cold pre-fermentation maceration, followed by 15 days of maceration with one daily pigeage, gentle pressing, then 12 months of ageing in oak barrels, 30% of which were new. Light filtration one week before bottling, and SO2 adjusted to 25 mg/L of free sulphur. Bottled at the estate on December 5th, 2023. 883 bottles produced.

Guillaume Bodin
Guillaume Bodin, 38, is a winemaker-filmmaker and globe-trotter of biodynamics, now at the helm of Domaine des Petites Planètes, which he founded in 2022 in Chamoson, Switzerland. Originally from Savoie, Guillaume grew up just 10 km from Belluard, but discovered wine not in his native region, but in Burgundy through a family friend.
