PNT - 2017 - Clémentine Bouvéron et Gian Marco Antonuzi
Azienda Le Coste
An elegant nose with notes of red and black fruits: raspberry, amarena cherry, plum, and hints of sweet spices. The palate is juicy, fluid, and smooth, with a lovely acidity, typical of the grape variety. A confidential cuvée that you would like to keep for yourself!

100% Pinot Noir from vines grown organically and planted on the Piancabella parcel, at an altitude of 480 meters: a very steep South-East facing, overlooking the lake. This is a massale selection of Pinot Noir from Alsace. Manual harvest in late August at full maturity. Ten days of maceration of the whole clusters in a French oak truncated cone vat. Crushing of the grapes, three more weeks of fermentation in contact with the skins. On year of aging in 5 hl barrels, and at least three further years in bottle at the Estate. Without added SO2.

Gian Marco Antonuzi
Gian Marco Antonuzi and Clémentine Bouvéron live in Gradoli, 150 km north of Rome. Clémentine studied oenology and Gian trained under such renowned vignerons as Barral and Pacalet . The young couple settled here in 2004 and started their estate from scratch, the land uncultivated but for a grove of olive trees abandoned for the last 20 years – good news when one doesn't want to inherit...
