A little gem in the making: very exotic, with notes of lychee and rose; the maceration brings out characteristics typically found in Muscat and Gewürztraminer... On the palate: plenty of body and a lovely, full-bodied texture, with an incredibly long finish. We love it.

This is the first vintage of this 100% Savagnin cuvée, made from grapes grown on vines planted by Valentin’s father 40 years ago on iridescent Triassic marl soils, which had been leased but which he finally acquired for this vintage. Hand-harvested and naturally vinified: three weeks of whole-cluster maceration, with the addition of about one-third Savagnin Rose from the Bois d’Arnaux plot. Fermented and aged in stainless steel tanks for nearly a year. Bottled in July 2024, without fining or filtration, and with no added sulfites.
