Pinot Noir from 40-year-old vines farmed organically, rooted in flinty clay over chalk in Blois. This 1.7-hectare parcel, planted between 1976 and 1979, includes a small percentage of Gamay, co-planted so harvested by hand together with the pinot, and co-vinified. Natural vinification: two to three weeks of maceration followed by 6 months of aging in 228L and 400L barrels, without new oak. Bottled at the estate on the 15th of March 2024, without fining or filtration, and just a micro-dose of sulfur.

Thierry Puzelat took over the family estate a few decades ago, 13 ha in Touraine, in the Loir-et-Cher. Time and a series of encounters would put him on the path to natural wines.
