A fine Sauvignon expressing itself beautifully, with notes of citrus, white fruits, mineral framework. Palate: perfect balance between tension and volume, nice roundness, long finish for a great quality/enjoyment ratio!
100% Sauvignon from organically conducted vines and planted on a plot of sand and gravel of 1.1 ha, half of the vines being 35 years old and half being between 3 and 20 years old. Manual harvesting, yields of about 20 to 25 hl/ha. Direct pressing, racking, fermentation and élevage in demi-muids and Burgundy barrels of several wines, 10 months of aging. Unfined, unfiltered, microdose of sulphur added during bottling at the Estate on June 15th 2023.
Thierry Puzelat took over the family estate a few decades ago, 13 ha in Touraine, in the Loir-et-Cher. Time and a series of encounters would put him on the path to natural wines.
