Blend of 50% Jacquère, 20% Pinot Gris, 20% Roussanne, and 10% Mondeuse Blanche from vines grown organically and planted on the Coteau de Cevins, on a mica-schist soil. The extreme slope (as steep as 60%) does not allow for the use of any machinery. Manual harvest and yields arounf 20 hl/ha. Vinification is done 100% in barrels, with indigenous yeasts, and maturation for 9 months in barrels that have seen two or three wines, bottled with a tiny pinch of sulfites.

Brice Omont, child of the 1976 vintage, has created a cru in the mountainside. In the 1990s, they started cutting back the forest, rebuilding the ancient terraces and planting grapes anew... and so was born a very unique vineyard, the Coteau de Cevins. The early years were difficult indeed, but this was an immense human undertaking, since he was supported by the wine people of the region and...
