100% Alicante Bouschet, a teinturier grape, traditional to the region, vinified by Xavier's parents and grandparents. A plot of very old vines that were frozen in late 2020 and were about to be pulled out... so why not vinify it! Last vintage, a unique cuvée. Hand-harvested, gentle maceration, vinification and aging in barrels for one year. Bottled after a light sulfiting and bottle aging before release.

Xavier Braujou settled in Aniane back in 1998, just next to the Grange des Pères and Mas Daumas Gassac. Prestigious neighbours indeed, though this strong-armed vigneron certainly needn’t be ashamed of the juice he’s making! He’s been the rising star of this area for some time now.
