Autochtone - 2019 - Gaec Courtois Kuka
Julien Courtois & Heidi Kuka
A devilishly powerful Romorantin, mineral-driven, with notes of white flowers, lime, candied lemon, and Earl Grey tea… The palate is luscious, fruity, and balanced, with insane length. Best to wait a little before popping the cork. You’re going to fall for the beetle!

100% Romorantin from organically farmed vines planted on soils of surface silica with flint and deeper clay with flint. Bottled without fining, filtration, or any added sulfur. The label, depicting a scarab beetle, features a Māori illustration by Heidi Kuka, Julien’s partner.
