100% Gamay à jus blanc from organically farmed vines planted in 1968 on soils of surface silica with flint and deeper clay with flint. Hand-harvested at full maturity with controlled yields. Vinification: 100% destemmed, one week of maceration with a few gentle pump-overs or punch-downs, then aged for 15 months in barrels that have seen several wines. Bottled in Spring 2025 without fining, filtration, or added sulfur. The label features a Māori drawing of a dragonfly, illustrated by Heidi Kuka.
