Grenache Noir from old vines planted in 1983, farmed biodynamically, on limestone soils from the Lower Cretaceous. Harvested by hand and natural vinification: direct pressing, light settling, bottled with 28 g/l of residual sugar to create the effervescence in bottle, 9 months of ageing on lees, disgorged à la volée, then recapped (crown cap) without any dosage. Unfined, unfiltered, without added sulfites. Brut sparkling.
Imogen Berry and Robin Althoff are the two young winemakers at the helm of Domaine Berry-Althoff and Le Quai à Raisins négoce, founded in 2015.
