96% Syrah and 4% Viognier from vines planted in 1992 on mica-schist and gneiss soils, across three different parcels at 150, 220, and 290 meters above sea level, with slopes ranging from 10 to 40% and a South/South-West exposure. We're therefore in Seyssuel: Ogier has crossed the Rhône, mirroring its terroirs! Harvesting by hand. Vinification: total destemming, indigenous yeasts, cold maceration in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. Pressing, 15 months of aging in extra-fine-grain barrels.

Stéphane Ogier represents the seventh generation of a long line of Rhône vignerons. Today, he oversees just over twenty hectares spanning Côte-Rôtie (where he holds 3.5 ha), as well as Saint-Joseph, Condrieu, Côtes du Rhône, the IGP Collines Rhodaniennes, and the hillside of Seyssuel.
