A blend of 80% Pinot Blanc and 20% Chardonnay, sourced from organically farmed vines planted on a sandy strip below the south-facing schist hillside. The Pinot Blanc was harvested in mid-September and the Chardonnay in late September (third pass). Vinification: direct, slow pressing, followed by transfer to barrels; malolactic fermentation is completed. Aging on fine lees in 400- and 500-liter barrels that have held two to four previous vintages, and in a 600-liter new oak demi-muid. No fining, light filtration, low sulfur content.
