On notes of undergrowth, cherry, spices, a hint of smoke... Palate: a fine and fruity Pinot, tense, thin crunchy tannins, long finish on toasted notes. A pure natural juice, with Yann's special touch.
100% Pinot Noir from organically farmed vines planted on clay-limestone soils (not far from a plot called Les Grands Ponts, but we can't tell you which commune it's in because the cuvée is classified as a Vin de France!). A beautiful terroir destined for a fresh, fruity cuvée. The grapes were harvested by hand and naturally vinified. Aged in vats, bottled without fining or filtration, zero added sulfites.
Yann Durieux. He may have the look of a wayward hippy, but this is a man who’s never lost his way or his gift. The vigneron is a wunderkind with an impeccable résumé, including 10 years at Prieuré-Roch as vineyard manager.
