A 100% natural Pinot Noir, from vines grown organically and planted on a clay-limestone parcel. A very beautiful terroir. Manual harvest and natural vinification. Maceration in whole bunches, soft pressing, matured in vats, bottled without any addition of sulphites. Yann is as secretive about his winemaking recipes as a Voodoo witch doctor!
Yann Durieux. He may have the look of a wayward hippy, but this is a man who’s never lost his way or his gift. The vigneron is a wunderkind with an impeccable résumé, including 10 years at Prieuré-Roch as vineyard manager.
