Powerful and spicy nose with notes of cranberry, plum and long pepper... Broad palate with beautiful tannins that carry the wine, echoing the aromatic power of the nose. There is plenty of grip and lovely volume. A cuvée that calls for the table and warms up rainy days!

100% Gamay from old organically farmed vines planted between 1967 and 1990 on gneiss soils. Hand-harvested at slight over-ripeness: 2023 was a very generous vintage, and by the time Philippe had finished harvesting the whites, the red grapes had enjoyed a little extra sunshine! Natural vinification: fully destemmed, with gentle foot punch-downs, 15 days of maceration, gentle pressing, followed by 10 months of aging in fiberglass tanks. Bottled at the end of June 2024, without fining or filtration, and with no added sulfites whatsoever.
