White peach, citrus, delicate exotic fruit notes, a floral lift... The palate is sharp and precise, with lively freshness, lovely mid-palate volume, and fine, elegant bitters on the finish that adds depth and elegance.
Guillaume Bodin
Guillaume Bodin, 38, is a winemaker-filmmaker and globe-trotter of biodynamics, now at the helm of Domaine des Petites Planètes, which he founded in 2022 in Chamoson, Switzerland. Originally from Savoie, Guillaume grew up just 10 km from Belluard, but discovered wine not in his native region, but in Burgundy through a family friend. It was a revelation—at 14, he left to study viticulture in the Beaujolais. A talk by Marc Guillemot on biodynamics sparked a second revelation. From there, the journey begins: he works with the Tripoz family in Mâcon, the Brett Brothers, Belluard, and spends a year in New Zealand... At the same time, Guillaume directs four documentaries, including Vigneronnes (2014–2018), during which he meets Marie-Thérèse Chappaz. He becomes her right hand for three and a half years—what a school! Today, Guillaume helps many estates transition to biodynamics, all while continuing to lead by example.
