Thomas et Florent Collet
Florent and Thomas Collet are the two brothers behind Famille Collet Champagne, a 6-hectare estate rooted in Fontaine-Denis-Nuisy — a village where wine has been part of life for over a thousand years. The Collet family’s own story goes way back too: their ties to Champagne date all the way to 1744 — no less! In 1973, it was their father, René Collet, who laid the foundations of the Domaine as we know it, gradually expanding the vineyard holdings (Chardonnay and Pinot Noir) and building a proper cellar and press under the Collet name. Between 2001 and 2011, his sons joined the adventure and steered the estate toward organic farming, while pushing boundaries — notably with the creation of Nus !, a no-added-sulphur cuvée. What sets Famille Collet apart is their meticulous élevage: the cellar boasts 6 foudres (2500L), 2 muids (1200L), 6 demi-muids, and 70 barrels. The result? Seriously beautiful bubbles, carefully crafted and fairly priced — the kind of Champagne that speaks for itself in the glass.
