Doris et Marion - 2023 - Pauline et Édouard Cazals
Les Longues Vignes
Surprising, charming nose with ripe, jammy black fruit and a hint of vanilla. On the palate, true Pinot character shines through with fine, structured tannins and good length. Definitely a favorite. The finish is mouthwatering, fresh, and delicious, dominated by crushed strawberry.

85% Pinot Noir and 15% Grolleau from organic vines, planted in 2019 and in their second year of production, in Saint-Jouan-des-Guérets on sandy-clay-loam soils, on a south-facing slope in the Rance Valley. Hand-picked in small crates, it is the second pass through the Grolleau. Total destemming by hand, 15 days of maceration, punching down every other day until the 10th day. Gentle pressing, 14 months aging in barrels that have seen one wine, bottled at the Domaine in November 2024. Neither fined nor filtered, just a micro-dose of sulfur.
