Champagne composed of the region’s three main grape varietals: 40% Chardonnay, 40% Pinot Noir and 20% Pinot Meunier. Grapes harvested manually at full maturity, and all from the 2016 harvest. The 7 ha estate is certified organic and biodynamic by ECOCERT and DEMETER. No chemical fertilizer, no weedkillers, etc... Sensible, sensitive farming, like that of an impassioned gardener! A cuvée disgorged the 9th of May 2023, without dosage.
Jérôme Bourgeois, child of the ’77 vintage, is a very dynamic vigneron, born into a family of champagne producers with a history four generations deep. The 7-hectare estate is made up of some 20 parcels scattered around the town of Crouttes-sur-Marne, halfway between Reims and Paris.
