Les Justices - 2018 - Jerôme Bourgeois
Bourgeois-Diaz
A few words from Maison Bourgeois-Diaz: "An evolved nose, reminiscent of Jura vins jaunes. On the palate, this oxidation is much more subtle, giving the wine superb complexity, combined with great sapidity and finesse, leaving a very fresh, long finish."

100% Pinot Meunier from biodynamically-grown vines, a massal selection planted in 1963 on clay-limestone soils. This is a vintage Champagne, using only the 2018 harvest, with grapes harvested by hand at high ripeness. Direct pressing in a traditional Coquard press, vinification in 3hl sandstone egg-shaped vats, malolactic fermentation, ageing on laths, aged under cork and disgorged on the 9th of May 2023, without dosage. The string is attached after disgorging, just a micro-dose of sulfur.

Jérôme Bourgeois
Jérôme Bourgeois, child of the ’77 vintage, is a very dynamic vigneron, born into a family of champagne producers with a history four generations deep. The 7-hectare estate is made up of some 20 parcels scattered around the town of Crouttes-sur-Marne, halfway between Reims and Paris. Jérôme took over the vines at the beginning of the 2000s from his parents, who had never bottled much wine...
