100% Pinot Meunier from old vines around sixty years old, grown biodynamically (the 7-hectare estate is certified by Demeter) and planted on the hillsides of Crouttes-sur-Marnes, on clay-silty soils. Grapes harvested manually and at high maturity, mainly from the 2020 harvest. Pressing in a traditional Coquard press, vinification in barrels, aging on laths and disgorging on the 6th of March 2023, with ZERO dosage.
Jérôme Bourgeois
Jérôme Bourgeois, child of the ’77 vintage, is a very dynamic vigneron, born into a family of champagne producers with a history four generations deep. The 7-hectare estate is made up of some 20 parcels scattered around the town of Crouttes-sur-Marne, halfway between Reims and Paris. Jérôme took over the vines at the beginning of the 2000s from his parents, who had never bottled much wine...
