Les Pinots - 2020 - Jerôme Bourgeois
Bourgeois-Diaz
A nose with notes of raspberry, small black berries, and a hint of minerals... A very expressive palate, with tension, depth, and structure, and a constant background of endlessly aromatic fruit.

A dry red wine from Champagne! 100% Pinot Noir, from vines cultivated biodynamically (the estate’s 7 hectares are certified biodynamic by Demeter) and planted on the slopes in Crouttes-sur-Marnes. The grapes are harvested by hand when very ripe, and the yields are tightly controlled. Vinification: carbonic maceration of the whole bunches, long fermentation, pressing in a traditional Coquard press, ten months of maturation in barrels that have seen several wines. Bottled without filtration on the 4th of October 2021. 619 bottles produced.

Jérôme Bourgeois
Jérôme Bourgeois, child of the ’77 vintage, is a very dynamic vigneron, born into a family of champagne producers with a history four generations deep. The 7-hectare estate is made up of some 20 parcels scattered around the town of Crouttes-sur-Marne, halfway between Reims and Paris. Jérôme took over the vines at the beginning of the 2000s from his parents, who had never bottled much wine...
