Le Clos IP Blanc - 2020 - Manu Venturi
Clos Venturi
IP stands for Invechjamentu Prolungatu, or prolonged ageing, which gives this cuvée a great complexity of honey, verbena and fresh herbs. The ageing process has left the exuberance of the youth behind, giving way to a sublime minerality. A great wine to open in a few years.

100% Vermentino from biodynamic vines certified by Demeter, planted on sandstone soils on the lower slopes, facing South/Southeast. Hand-harvested in several passes to obtain optimum ripeness. Vinification: total de-stemming, 48 to 72 hours of maceration of the berries before pneumatic pressing, fermentation and long aging in egg-shaped concrete vats, on fine lees, for 14 months, followed by 10 months in stainless steel vats. Bottled at the estate without fining, and after just a light filtration.
