100% Sciaccarello from vines grown biodynamically, certified by Demeter, planted on hilltop sandstone soils facing south/southeast. Harvesting is done by hand, yields around 40 hl/ha. Vinification: total de-stemming, a few hours of skin-contact maceration before pneumatic pressing, temperature-controlled fermentation, 6 months of aging in stainless-steel vats on fine lees. Bottled at the estate without fining, lightly filtered.

Manu Venturi, child of the 1975 vintage, born in Corsica to an oenologist father, is his worthy successor at Domaine Vico and Clos Venturi, in the heart of Haute-Corse.
