100% Muscat Petits Grains from organically farmed vines planted in 2001 on limestone soils. This is the first vineyard Marie-Charlotte worked, inherited in 2015. Manual harvest at very slight over-ripeness (19% potential alcohol). Vinified like a white: direct press, short fermentation and aging in stainless steel. Bottled at the Domaine in spring 2024. Sulfited at harvest and post-fermentation if needed, with total SO2 around 50 mg/l.
Marie-Charlotte Pinelli is a name to remember in the Corsican wine scene. Granddaughter of a vigneron, she left for Paris at 18 to study architecture, but it didn’t stick. Back in Patrimonio in July 2015, her father François had just received, as an inheritance from a cousin, a small parcel of Muscat—Marie-Charlotte thought, why not! That moment marked the beginning of the Pinelli family...
