A nose with notes of sherry, apricot, honey, almonds, and brown sugar... A smooth and balanced palate, with lovely volume and candied fruit finish. A delight at the end of a meal – to be served chilled.
A macvin (vin de liqueur or a fortified wine) produced from Chardonnay and Savagnin from vines planted on clay-limestone soils, over different parcels of the Estate. The Marvin is made of one-third of marc aged in 228-litre barrels, and two-thirds fresh grape juice. Blend of vintages, long maturation in barrels before a bottling at the estate on the 11th of August 2021, with sulfites used only sparingly.
