Blend from several estate's parcels, 1/3 of Pinot Noir, 1/3 of Ploussard and 1/3 of Trousseau for this vintage, from vines grown organically and planted on marl and limestone soils. Harvested by hand. Whole bunches for the Pinot, destemmed in the vineyard for the Trousseau and destemmed by hand in the cellar for the Ploussard. 20 days of maceration, 10 months of aging in casks, vinification and aging are separated for these three grape varieties. Bottled at the estate with a reasonable dose of sulfites.

Marin Fumey
Marin Fumey, a young purebred Jura winegrower, has always bathed in Vin Jaune! His parents Adeline and Raphaël founded the estate in 1986 with only 56 acres of vines. While it remains a family affair, today Fumey-Chatelain totals sixteen hectares of vines in the process of being converted to organics.
