Nose on crunchy red berries, blueberry and spices. On the palate, the texture is unctuous and the pleasure immediate, with a generous mouthfeel and well-matured tannins. Perfect balance between substance and drinkability!
100% Trousseau, from 6 terroirs: Curon, Rosières, Beranger, Muzard, Chevrette and Bruyères. The vineyards are farmed biodynamically, planted between 1930 and 2002 on limestone scree soils from the Bajocian Age, facing South and West. The grapes are picked by hand, with meticulous sorting in the vineyard. Vinification: the grapes are destemmed by hand, followed by 4 weeks of maceration in conical wooden vats, with some punching of the cap. Matured in 600-litre demi-muid barrels for one year. Bottled with just a microdose of sulphur.
Stéphane Tissot took over the beautiful family estate from André and Mireille Tissot in 1990, and in over thirty years has accomplished a colossal task to reach the summit of the Jura and become a model far beyond the borders of France.
