40% Petit Manseng (planted in 1991), 35% Gros Manseng (1991), and 25% Petit Courbu, from vines planted in Monein in the Tauzy locality, a 2-hectare east-facing plot. Silt-clay soils with iron-rich gravel and red clay. Hand-harvested during the second half of October, with yields around 35 hl/ha. Natural winemaking: direct and very slow pressing of whole clusters, fermentation and aging in old wooden casks for 12 months on full lees. Blending and an additional 6 months in stainless steel tanks, with the lees.
