Maylis Bernard
Notes of red berries and long pepper... On the palate: the combination of Trousseau and Ploussard is always a blend that provides great pleasure when done well, and Maylis delivers a beautiful interpretation here! A very nice, long finish with soft spices.

A blended cuvée of half Trousseau and half Ploussard, from vines grown organically. Harvesting was done by hand, followed by a natural vinification: three weeks of semi-maceration in whole bunches, "like an infusion", so without any punching-down or pump-overs, gentle pressing, aged 2/3 in large wooden vat (without new oak) and 1/3 in amphorae, for one year. Bottled at the end of October 2024 without fining or filtration, without added sulfites. One year of bottle aging in Maylis' cellars.
