A breath of fresh air for Zéphyr, with citrus, pear, white peach and iodine notes on the nose. Palate: digestible, balanced, fresh, the perfect aperitif wine, with a saline, salivating finish.
Maxime Rozé
Maxime Rozé, originally from Brittany, is the young winemaker at the head of Micro Winerie, an urban winery based in Darwin, the alternative place for ecological transition in the heart of Bordeaux. Initially trained as an agricultural engineer, Maxime first discovered wine and biodynamic viticulture while he was working at Domaine Grosbois in Chinon, and it’s a revelation: he will become an oenologist. After getting some experiences in New Zeland, Argentina and California, he returns to France with just one idea in mind: make his own wine. With no access to land, the wine trade seems to impose itself: organic and qualitative grapes harvested by hands, which will then be vinified in a place steeped in history, once used to store barrels for the Bordeaux wine trade… The circle is complete! This joyful project is all about exchange, short circuits and sharing his passion for wine with as many people as possible; with wines that reflect this place, connected to their terroir and yet in perfect harmony with their time.
A few words from the estate: "Grenade is a bottle that, when it's opened, unleashes an explosion of aromas without warning on your palate. Fresh, crisp red fruits take up the space, fading into fine, delicate tannins."
Ripe black fruit and undergrowth on the nose, dense and fresh on the palate, tannins softened thanks to a quite long aging, finish with a hint of menthol. Magma is the fusion of these two aging processes, the meeting of the oak of the barrel and the earth of the amphora.
Fruity, floral nose with notes of strawberry, raspberry and violet. Juicy, well-balanced, luscious palate, velvety tannins, long finish. Imagine all the wines... Living life and giving us peace... Listen to John Lennon, drink this bottle, and life is more beautiful.
Rich, powerful nose with notes of ripe black fruits, enhanced by a hint of smoke. Palate: concentrated, dense, a sunny juice with beautiful mellow tannins, spicy finish. Decant one hour before tasting.
A natural Malbec sparkling wine, what a great idea! With notes of wild strawberry, redcurrant and blood orange. Fresh on the palate, with fine, light bubbles and invigorating acidity, this juice is off the beaten track, making our senses dance for (almost!) euphoric tastings!
A cuvée in homage to Château des Queyries, which produced the affordable red wine for the people of the time. Ripe red fruits on the nose, fresh on the palate, smooth texture. Maxime's advice: perfect with pizza or steak served with shallot sauce, the choice is yours!
A few words from the winemaker: “Juicy mango, velvety peach, and zesty citrus blend harmoniously to wrap around you, before giving way to a subtle, vibrant tension that awakens your senses and leaves your mouth watering.”
A press rosé all about freshness, with notes of strawberry, citrus, and pear. The palate is lively and expressive, finely zesty with a delicate lemony finish. Like diving into crystal-clear water on a hot summer day — essential and utterly refreshing!
A powerful nose that almost transports you to the Jura… but it’s something else entirely! Hazelnut, honey, yellow fruit, and passion fruit. The palate shows a pronounced élevage, balanced by lovely tension and volume. Can be degassed if you like.
