Burgundy
Bourgogne "La Grande Carelle" - 2022 - Maxime Dubuet Boillot
Domaine Dubuet Boillot
Concentrated nose, carried by notes of ripe berries, notably blackcurrant jam, which quickly opens up to raspberry, cherry and rose. Generous on the palate, with assertive tannins, this is already a wine crafted for gastronomy.

100% Pinot Noir from 60-year-old vines planted over 50 ares on a parcel planted below the Château de Pommard, and classified as Pommard Villages until the 1950s. Southeast-facing plot with white limestone and gravel soils. Manual harvest, meticulous sorting in the vineyard and in the cellar. Vinification: 90% of the harvest is destemmed, maceration with regular punching down and pumping over, pressing, 12 months of aging in French oak barrels, with 30% new oak.
Maxime Dubuet-Boillot
Maxime Dubuet-Boillot, child of the 1989 vintage and grandson of a farmer from Corberon and a vigneron from Volnay, first turned his back on his family vineyards before finally returning to them for good. Maxime’s career began not in wine but auto racing, working as a mechanic for The 24 Hours of Le Mans. He pursued that passion for 10 years before heeding the call of his winegrowing roots....
