Corton Charlemagne Grand Cru - 2020 - Tomoko Kuriyama et Guillaume Bott
Chanterêves
A few words from the winegrowers: "A wine with a floral and slightly smoky nose, with notes of pear. Very elegant. The aromatic palette is dense and saline, with aromas of lemon, pear and yellow fruits. A beautiful and long finish."

Chardonnay from biodynamic vines, the plot is plowed by horse and meticulously maintained by a winegrower friend. A cuvée made of purchased grapes, but this is some haute-couture négoce! Plot on a west-facing hillside, above the village of Pernand-Vergelesses. Manual harvest, fermentation and aging in 350-liter barrels, without new oak, for 12 months, then a second winter of aging in stainless steel vats before bottling in February. Not fined, not filtered, micro-dose of sulphur. Four barrels produced.

Tomoko et Guillaume
Tomoko Kuriyama and Guillaume Bott form the magical duo of Chanterêves. As a couple both in life and in the vineyard, they established their Maison de vins in 2011, an haute-couture négoce based in Savigny-lès-Beaune, nowadays also an Estate with their own vines. Tomoko is originally from Japan, and was exposed to wines from a very young age, having her father passionate by great Burgundy...
