The nose is exceptionally complex and powerful, with notes of baked apple, candied lemon, brioche, pear, and butter-roasted nectarine... The palate is incredible, with lovely biscuity aromas, an enveloping texture, great body, and exceptional length. A total winner.

A Grand Cru Champagne, half Chardonnay and half Pinot Noir, vines planted in Chouilly and Aÿ on terroirs of exposed chalk overlaid with layers of clay and alluvial deposits. This cuvée is drawn from a perpetual reserve established in 1995 and continuing onwards to the 2019 vintage, with an aging period of 12 years. Direct pressing, vinification and aging take place in stainless steel tanks. Bottling, aging on laths and disgorgement in December 2022. A brut Champagne, with a dosage of 6.5 grams per liter.

Rémi, Olivier and Jérôme Legras run the Legras & Haas house, in Chouilly, Grand Cru of the Côte des Blancs. Their father François, learning the vine from his own father from the age of 16, carries four centuries of the village's winegrowing tradition.
