A cuvée produced only in the best vintages, a blend of Chardonnay and Savagnin from vines planted on several plots of land, with predominantly clay-limestone soils. The grapes are harvested by hand using small crates. The bunches are then laid out to raisin, followed by a long pressing, fermentation and long maturation for more than six years in barrels that have seen several wines, without any topping up of the barrels.

Jean-François Ganevat represents the 14th generation of vignerons of his family in Rotalier, in the south of Jura. After years working as the cellar master of Jean-Marc Morey in Chassagne-Montrachet, he took over his family’s estate in 1998.
