Les Folies du Noyer Vert - 2021 - Domaine de l'R

100% Cabernet Franc from 55- to 65-year-old vines farmed organically and certified biodynamic, planted on gravel terroir, the ancient bed of the Vienne (sandy-clay), and on small hills (“montilles”) with a limestone base and one sandy parcel. Hand-harvested in ventilated crates. Natural vinification: gravity-fed vatting, foot-treading, malolactic fermentations and 12 months of ageing in barrels with 30% new oak (very light toast). Bottled at the Domaine with just a micro-dose of sulphur.
