Orange - 2020 - Antoine Gouffier

Domaine du Bouchot

"We don't make reds at the estate, so when we’re in the mood for something different, we make orange wines!" A luscious cuvée made by skin contact, boasting subtle exotic and floral notes, a touch of pomelo, and a mineral palate with well-balanced acidity and tannins, and a long finish.

100% Sauvignon from 45-year-old vines farmed biodynamically and planted on a small plot of Portland limestone soil. Bottled at the estate in October 2021 after a light filtration, with just a microdose of sulphur to protect the wine, for a total SO2 of 35 mg/l.
