Complex nose (and all the more so at this affordable price!) with notes of blackberry, cherry, violet, garrigue, and soft spices. Balanced and fruity on the palate, with supple, perfectly integrated tannins and a fruity finish. Tobias is the name of Alvaro's dog, who appears on the label.

Tutti-frutti mix of regional grape varieties, with a large majority of Jaen and Touriga Nacional, vines averaging 30 years old planted on different plots with different exposures, but all with granite soils, at an altitude of 500 to 550 meters, and located in the village of Pinhanços. Manual harvesting and natural vinification: total destemming, crushing, 6 days of maceration, pressing, fermentation in stainless steel vats, then aging in French oak barrels, without new oak, for 12 months.
