We are already enjoying this bottle of Quinta de Saes, which offers notes of roasted pineapple, yellow plum, peach, and a subtle touch of orange blossom... Palate: this is some hot stuff!!! Full-bodied and long, balanced by a beautiful minerality. Very charming.
Ingredients and nutrition facts
Encruzado, Cerceal, and Bical grapes from 36-year-old vines grown organically and planted on three plots (one for each grape variety) at an altitude of 500 meters on granite soils, facing mostly southeastern direction, in Pinhanços. The grapes were harvested by hand, destemmed and crushed on arrival at the winery, 6 hours of maceration before pressing, then blending of free-run juice and press juice. Fermented in stainless steel vats, aged in French oak barrels, without new oak, for 12 months.
